A wild story is currently taking the internet by storm, claiming that tech billionaire Elon Musk has a long-lost son in Kenya. The man, who has not been publicly identified, says he's a "mental health activist" and wants a DNA test to prove his connection to Musk.

According to the man's story, his mother met a young Elon Musk back in the early 1990s when she was working at a hotel in Kenya's Maasai Mara. This would have made Musk around 20 years old.

The man's claim, which first appeared on a social media account called African Hub, quickly went viral. A post from the account on August 3rd, captioned "Kenyan man claims he is Elon Musk’s son," has since racked up over 9.7 million views on X (formerly Twitter).

However, the story has been met with a healthy dose of scepticism. The original post is vague, offering no details about the man's name or a second photo to verify his story. This lack of information has prompted many social media users to question the legitimacy of the claim and the viral narrative.

What do you think? Is this an unbelievable family reunion story, or just another internet hoax?
