Born on August 13, 1986, in Bayreuth, Germany, Alexandra Ndolo is a force to be reckoned with in the world of fencing. This German-Kenyan epée specialist has been making waves internationally, and her story is one of passion, perseverance, and dedication.

Early Life and Career

Ndolo's parents, Donald Ndolo and Barbara Sabarth, instilled in her a love for sports from a young age. Her father, a Kenyan, and her mother, a Polish native, ensured she stayed connected to her roots. Ndolo began fencing at a young age and quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a German national champion in 2010. She represented Germany in various international competitions, including the World Fencing Championships and the European Fencing Championships.

Switching Allegiance

In 2022, Ndolo made a bold decision to switch her allegiance to Kenya, her father's homeland. This move wasn't just about changing national teams; it was about giving back to the community that had inspired her. Ndolo co-founded the Kenya Fencing Association, working tirelessly to promote the sport in her ancestral homeland.
