The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially opened the media accreditation process for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025, set to take place in Morocco.
Media professionals who want to cover the tournament, which runs from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026, can now apply for accreditation. The application window opened on September 1, 2025, and will close on October 10, 2025.
All applications must be submitted exclusively through the CAF Media Channel.
Key Requirements for Accreditation:

Active Account: Applicants must have a valid account on the CAF Media Channel.

Proof of Profession: You must be a professional journalist, photographer, or media representative from a recognized media outlet.

Official Documentation: A valid press card or an official letter of assignment from your organization is required.

Identification: International media must provide a copy of a passport with at least six months of validity. Moroccan-based media can use either their passport or a valid national ID card.

Photo: A recent, high-quality, passport-style photo must be uploaded.
Please note that all applications are subject to approval and are not processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Incomplete or inaccurate applications will be rejected. Successful applicants will be notified with further details.
