It is with profound sadness that we say goodbye to Connie Francis, a trailblazing voice in American pop music and a beloved figure to millions around the world.

Her dear friend and publicist, Ron Roberts, president of Concetta Records, shared the heartbreaking news on her official Facebook page: "It is with a heavy heart and extreme sadness that I inform you of the passing of my dear friend Connie Francis last night."

A true pioneer, Connie Francis rose to stardom in the 1950s and 60s with unforgettable hits like "Where The Boys Are," "Everybody's Somebody's Fool," "Who's Sorry Now," "Stupid Cupid," and "Lipstick on Your Collar." Her unmistakable voice and emotional depth made her one of the best-selling female artists of her time and a treasured part of music history.

Just earlier this month, Connie was hospitalized in Florida after experiencing "extreme pain," but ever the fighter, she reassured fans from her hospital bed: "I am pleased to advise that following a series of tests and examinations in Intensive Care, I have now been transferred to a private room."

Connie Francis was more than just a singer—she was a symbol of resilience, grace, and enduring talent. Her music will continue to echo through the generations, just as her spirit will live on in the hearts of fans and friends everywhere.

Rest in peace, Connie. The world will never forget you.
